BWO Scrap Tire Crumbing Technology
BWOcr Innovation
BWO has developed a new technology crumbing machine, which is currently in operation in Belen, NM. This equipment forms the heart of the processing technology, which is being offered to affiliated processors on a national basis.
BWOcr Technology
The BWOcr crumbing machine takes rubber chip as feedstock directly from tire-shredding equipment. The feed material is dropped into the top of the machine via the inlet chute, and passes through a multi-stage impact pulverization process. Several alloys are used in BWOcr to provide long lifetime on wear components, and make this crumbing machine one of the most economical to operate in the marketplace.
BWOcr Specifications
The BWOcr can be installed on a standard commercial 8" concrete pad. The recommended ceiling height for easy maintenance and material-handling is 15'-20'.
The footprint of the BWOcr is 42" (width), 55" (depth), 70" (height). The equipment may be operated with or without an optional recirculating water jacket cooling system, with standard pipe fittings. An optional drip water feed for lubrication of rubber and increased throughput is available. The machine is powered by a belt drive 100 hp electrical motor, 480 VAC, 3 phase power.
BWOcr Capacity
The BWOcr provides a nominal throughput of 1 Ton/hr of rubber chip feedstock. The throughput varies somewhat, depending on the crumb particle size desired. The machine produces a distribution of crumb sizes, which can be adjusted to meet production requirements.
BWOcr Availability
Normal delivery time is 6-8 weeks after receipt of order and downpayment. For large orders, or in case of backlog at the BWO factory, we will work with customers to schedule delivery of machines to your site
